IZA World of Labor in the news: March 2015
Last year saw impressive media coverage for IZA World of Labor, and our articles are still attracting news coverage around the world in 2015.
Carol Graham’s article was featured in an article on retirement by Time.com. Time journalist Donna Rosato cited research in Graham’s article to support her piece about happiness levels in retirees.
Our article by Karine Nyborg was also featured in a Monkey Cage blog in the Washington Post. The article was written in response to the terrorist attacks in France earlier this year, and the implications this would have for Muslim integration. Nyborg’s piece on socially responsible firms supported points on workforce diversity.
It’s great to see our collection of articles receiving continued interest in relation to global labor economics affairs. However, our newest articles are also gaining particular attention. Our new piece by Michael Lechner on sports activity and employment was picked up by several international publications, including Der Standard in Austria, and the German publications Epoch Times and Bild.
Meanwhile, our new piece by Christina Gathmann on naturalization and citizenship received brilliant press coverage in Die Welt and other German publications such as Zeit Online.
Such high-profile exposure demonstrates the ongoing relevance of our resource as our collection of articles continues to grow.
