An exciting year ahead for IZA World of Labor

IZA World of Labor’s directors from Bloomsbury Publishing and the IZA met last week to discuss progress to date and goals for the coming year.

After our launch in May 2014, IZA World of Labor has had a fruitful few months. As well as publishing over 100 articles online, and being featured in some of the most prestigious press titles in the UK and US, the resource has now been indexed by EconLit, the American Economic Association’s electronic bibliography of economic literature.

At last week's meeting, Bloomsbury’s executive director Nigel Newton presented our editor-in-chief Klaus F. Zimmermann with two substantial volumes containing all the articles published in 2014.

We are working to create and publish 500 articles covering all relevant areas in labor economics, to create a comprehensive resource for decision-makers worldwide.
