IZA World of Labor Launch

The European Association of Labour Economists are pleased to invite all labour economists to submit papers for presentations at the 33rd Annual Conference of the European Association of Labour Economists, to be held in Padua Italy, 16-18 September 2021.
To coincide with International Workers’ Day on May 1, 2014, IZA hosted an exclusive event to officially launch IZA World of Labor.
The breakfast meeting comprised a roundtable discussion led by IZA Director Klaus F. Zimmermann, and chaired by Dr Arup Banerji, Global Director for Social Protection and Labor at The World Bank.
IZA’s Amelie F. Constant made a special presentation of her paper, “Do migrants take the jobs of native workers?” to the audience of senior policymakers from the US Department of Labor, US Chamber of Commerce and the American Federation of Labor. IZA World of Labor was further represented by Solomon W. Polachek and Robert Lerman.
