The 6th IZA Workshop on the Economics of Education will again replicate as closely as possible a ‘real life’ IZA Economics of Education workshop, with interactive presentations in plenary or parallel sessions, policy discussion and social zoomixing.
The keynote speaker is Caterina Calsamiglia, ICREA Research Professor at IPEG, Barcelona, Spain. In addition to keynote and presentations in plenary or parallel sessions, an international policy panel featuring Matthew Kraft (Brown University), Helena Skyt Nielsen (University of Aarhus and IZA), Emily Oster (Brown University) and Birgitta Rabe (University of Essex and IZA) is to discuss ways out of the education crisis triggered by school closures during the pandemic.
The conference will have a limited set of full participants, who can actively engage with the speakers. An unlimited number of researchers will be able to follow the conference via live streaming on YouTube to reach as wide an audience as possible.
The workshop will be held over three days in the (European) afternoons to ease participation of both European and international audiences.
For more information, see the call for papers.
