What are the consequences of risky behaviors on individuals and society as a whole? Such behaviors (which can include, for example, alcohol and substance abuse, crime and delinquency, underage sexual activity, poor diets and sedentary lifestyles) can result in preventable deaths as well as substantial costs.

This annual meeting aimed to increase understanding of the underlying causes and consequences of such behaviors, and promote policies that can deal with these issues.
