In writing Mexico's entry into World of Labor, my Bank of Mexico coauthors and I had a chance to take a big-picture view of the Mexican labor market. It was a fruitful, enjoyable exercise that helped us gain renewed clarity in interpreting labor trends and challenges from the perspective of the Central Bank.
