    IZA/ECONtribute Workshop on the Economics of Education

    Online

    The 8th IZA/ECONtribute Workshop on the Economics of Education will convene international scholars focusing on the development of skills within both formal and informal educational contexts and their valuation in the labor market. The conference will feature a select group of presenters, alongside a poster session for local researchers from the host institutions. Presentations and the keynote speech will be accessible via Zoom to an external audience.

Call for papers EALE conference 2022

All labour economists are invited to submit papers for presentation at the 34th Annual Conference of the European Association of Labour Economists, to be held in Padova, Italy, from 8 to 10 September 2022. The department of Economics and Management "Marco Fanno" of the University of Padova will host the conference.

Keynote speakers will be Paolo Pinotti and Andrea Weber. In addition, there will be flash talk sessions, parallel sessions and poster sessions.

You are welcome to submit papers for the EALE conference according to the list of topics below. A scientific programme committee will evaluate all submitted papers.
Papers are to be submitted electronically using the online submission form
Please take into account that your paper will be randomly assigned to either a poster session or a parallel session.

Deadline: March 1, 2022 (23:59 CEST)

Please carefully read the instructions below before submitting your paper.

  • Papers must be submitted online.
  • No more than one submission by the same author will be considered.
  • To each paper an abstract must be added. Both your abstract and paper should be submitted online.
  • Only complete (draft) papers will be considered.
  • Please complete all the required fields and enclose your paper as one pdf file (do not add any tables, figures, etc. as separate files).

You will receive a confirmation message after your submission has been completed. If you do not receive this message, please contact eale-sbe@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

You will be notified of the acceptance of your paper by April 1, 2022.  
An accepted paper can only be included in the scientific programme if the presenting author has registered before May 15, 2022.
Each participant can only present one paper but can co-author more than one paper in the programme.
